PATRICK BRENNAN

Drums Not Bombs was originally conceived for a small ensemble (released on CIMP Records, #305). As in many of Patrick Brennan’s solo performances the saxophonist strips down his pieces to the bare minimum, retaining nevertheless a sense of the original arrangement. The remaining instruments are insinuated as much in the playing as in the silences.
